Here is my review of Prince of Thorns by Mark Lawrence. Prince of Thorns is the first entry in the broken empire Grimdark Fantasy series. This is one of my favorite books of all time.
This is a tale of revenge. The tone is dark and violent, so obviously, if youre not into to that youll have a hard time with this book.
Personally, I enjoyed the hell out of it.
Prince Honorous Jorg Ancrath is a ruthless protagonist. Jorgs thoughts are often philosophical and entertaining. He leads a gang of violent criminals on a mission to avenge his mother and little brother
