I set a goal early on in my woodworking journey: I wanted to be in a gallery one day. I didn’t know how to accomplish that. I wasn’t a professional furniture maker. But I thought if I could get into a gallery, that would be some demarcator of success. And I'm particularly fond of the piece in the exhibition -- a commission from a luthier who is arguably better at her craft than I am at mine. This is the story of that piece.
