The sequel to my 5bld pop video lmao
Total time ended up being 3:12, pretty wild all things considered lol. I very rarely pop this cube, let alone twice in one solve. I felt 99.9% sure that this solve would be a DNF, hence my reaction.
Two other notes:
1. This should probably have been +2'ed due to my touching the puzzle before the judge. If someone wants to go through the effort of making that happen, be my guest lmao. This is more than double the time of my PR, wasn't my bo3 in the round, and didn't contribute to a successful mean, so it really doesn't matter to me lol.
2. For some reason the judge decided to remove the sight blocker when I popped and looked for the popped pieces, which is a bad thing to do for reasons I think should be obvious. I'm not upset with the judge, this wasn't even close to being a good solve, and mistakes happen. He was probably really caught off guard with this incident lol. I didn't realize this until watching the video later, but once again, this doesn't matter to me much and I would be really surprised if delegates would want to DNF it as a result. But yeah, PSA, while judging BLD you should under no circumstances remove the sight blocker even for a second, until the competitor has stopped the timer.

The much anticipated sequel to How to have sub-15 3BLD execution
I deliberately avoided using floating buffers or LTCT on all of these solves. These are all just 10 algers (or 11 algers) with basic 3-style, plus breaking in to flips and twists here and there, and some very simple 1 or 2 move cancels on occasion.
Literally just have decent algs and flow well between them. Turning doesnt even have to be that spammy or crazy. Floating/LTCT makes these times easier but the point here is that those things are not required. These solves probably average like 8.0 STPS. Can you do [U, R E R] sub-1 second? Thats 8.0 STPS :)

TL;DR, I learned full UF-UR+2c parity algs for full floating in MBLD, and it has consistently been very useful in 3BLD. This solve was 9 algs floated to 7, and the only way I could make it 7 algs was by utilizing UF-UR+UBR-BUL parity :)
