Here’s another cast video – this time with the West End cast of The Prince of Egypt. I love doing this kind of video because it gives an opportunity for the cast to perform together once again. In a few days’ time, on the 1st of July, it will mark the anniversary of the show’s reopening in the West End in 2021. It first opened in February 2020 but was soon interrupted by the nationwide lockdown. It was finally able to reopen in July 2021 with the young cast in our video today. They completed their incredibly successful run in January. We had chosen to do ‘When You Believe’ because it is simply the best song from the show with a beautiful message. It is a song that can keep one going through dark days. Huge thanks to the cast for taking the time to do this, particularly because most of them are performing in or rehearsing for other shows at the moment, including Mary Poppins, Bonnie and Clyde, Tina, etc. Hope you enjoy this video and remember, ‘you will when you believe.’
