A/N: So yeah, I'm finally posting it.
I've been working on this video the longest period of time, I think. I don't remember exactly where or how I found this song, but in December'09 I started circling around it. It took me awhile to start even thinking about the story, because I really didn't want to ruin the song, which, in my opinion, is great (and this is an understatement, I have to say). I didn't want to cut it or make it shorter, so that's why the video is more than 5 minutes long.
When I started working on the video, I didn't know how the season would end - it was in April or something - so the next 1,5 month I was piking up and leaving it, working bit by bit on the video. When I hit the half-song mark, I got stucked. I didn't know what to make then, and there was, like, 2,5 minutes of the song! X__X
This is where auntshoe came in. I was like, "I Don't know what to do! What should I put here and there?! It's not working! This video sucks!" and blah blah blah. So auntshoe told me that there're two things that are always working - Dean's amulet and fireworks xD I still can't believe I gave up to that, but she saved this video! I put some amulet clips and some fireworks clips and this is how, in my opinion, the strongest part of this video was created. I was working in blind, so to say, and when I watched the final result I was really surprised how much I liked it. This parallel between little Sammy and Sam-Lucifer is really powerful by itself, and when you watch it with a song like this? I don't know, but it really is something.
I would really like to say that this is my last video for Supernatural. Though I wouldn't, because I know it would be a lie :P I tried to capture the whole show, the whole era in this 5 minutes video. Brother's relationships, their roads that sometimes was were together and sometimes separate, the way they made through the years and how they've changed. How they tried to save people, to save themselves, and how death was always right behind them. I know it's been 1,5 month after the season finale. I made this video for a Russian challenge, and I couldn't post it by my own name because the challenge was anonymous. I finished this video, like, 2-3 days after the season finale, so this is/was my way of surviving the finale, the hiatus, etc.
