When Rappers Waste A Great Beat:
It's pretty obvious to say it, but good instrumentals are so important in hip hop. A great beat can elevate great rapping to the next level, and create an amazing atmosphere that really absorbs you into the music.
But sometimes... this doesn't happen. Sometimes a producer will give a rapper a blessing of a beat, and what they do with it ends up making it feel like a missed opportunity. Today, I'm gonna be sharing some songs I feel that way about.
