The American Civil War song ‘When Johnny Comes Marching Home’ has been used in many different ways over the last hundred years: as incidental music in film and TV, as a popular big band tune, and as the melody for children’s nursery rhymes to name just a few. This bass guitar arrangement is complex and requires a solid foundation in a number of techniques: chordal fingerstyle, slap bass, and two-handed tapping.
