Here's part 3 of a series of videos that will summarize my experience as I progress further into Starfield's main storyline and some of the faction side quests. There are moments where the combat is fun, but that's usually within the first 3 minutes of it when you start playing for the day, and then literally everything after that is the same identical experience fighting the same boring and generic enemies in the same copy-pasted environments. With some more diversity and just better combat AI, the gunplay in this game could have been really great, but as it is now it just feels very meh. And then there's the inexplicable, repeated moments where the game suddenly becomes a text-based adventure, and rather than actually using 3D graphics and audio to represent what's happening to your character or in the environment, the game just pops up a dialogue box like it's Clippy™ to tell you what you did. I feel like they just gave up at some point and said f*ck it, do the bare minimum so we can ship the game and start working on the 1 year anniversary addition DLC.
