When Catholic Men Mock Catholic Women: A Pattern That Needs to Be Named.
When I asked a simple, good-faith question to a prominent Catholic podcaster on X, I didn’t get a theological response. I got mockery. And I wasn’t alone.
In this video I document — calmly, with receipts — a growing trend of Catholic men online who respond to Catholic women’s voices not with Scripture, not with Magisterial teaching, but with sarcasm, pile-ons, and public shaming. I name names. I show the exchanges. And I ask a question the Church deserves an answer to: Where in Catholic teaching does mocking women appear as a virtue?
We’ll examine what the Magisterium actually says about the dignity of women — from Mulieris Dignitatem to CCC §2334 — and how far today’s Trad-adjacent Catholic influencer culture has drifted from it.
