Awakened States - When Blind People Gain Vision During NDEs

Researchers have been studying near death experiences (NDEs)
since the 1970s in order to understand if there is life after death.
Digging deeper, some have investigated cases of NDEs reported by blind people and how this might be possible given that in most cases these people have been blind since birth.
Results of these studies have shown that during clinical death 80% of the blind report being able to see, details of which are later often corroborated by witnesses. Although these individuals were blind before their NDE and remain blind after their NDE, during the death period some describe what only a sighted person can perceive.
If they cannot see these things with their eyes, how is it possible that the blind transcend their blindness near and during death? As we explore this question we may discover that this ability could point to a transcendental state, providing evidence for human consciousness to exist in a non-physical form after death which is commonly referred to as the Afterlife.
