"When Bearcat Went Dry" is a Western action drama starring Bernard Durning, Ed Brady, Lon Chaney, Vangie Valentine, Walt Whitman, Winter Hall, M. K. Wilson and others.
The bloody feud between two gangs in the Kentucky mountains escalates when a government contractor gets in their cross-hairs and steals the girlfriend of one gang leader.
Below are two reviews from the year after the film's release:
"The production is replete with the atmosphere of the southern mountains, and presents interesting types of the men who inhabit them, impersonated by a competent cast." (Moving Picture World)
"This is a well directed picture interpreted by a cast of very good types. Suspense and fast action with love and pathos are combined and it will undoubtedly register heavily with the majority and completely satisfy the minority also." (Motion Picture News)
