When an HR system like Workday signals a role change overnight, a "Mover" lifecycle workflow in Microsoft Entra Suite adjusts access automatically. Stale entitlements from the previous role are removed, and a new access package — bundling the right apps and permissions for the new IoT product marketing role — is assigned without anyone touching it. That's least-privilege access, enforced on its own.
