I genuinely didn’t understand that people were saying Adidas, Volkswagen, or Mercedes when I first moved to the US! 🇺🇸😂 The pronunciation is so vastly different from the German original! 🇩🇪 Many people don’t know that Adidas is actually a German company. It was founded by Adolf (“Adi”) Dassler in 1949. And HIS BROTHER Rudi Dassler founded Puma! 🤯
