Competition for food in the wild is always fierce, but I didn’t expect these two beasts to come this close.
One, a master of the skies. Gliding effortlessly on a blanket of air. The other, a master of the cold underwater currents, gliding through like a ballerina.
The majestic bald eagle and the mighty sea lion often share space and sometimes they even compete for the same bite to eat. I’d love to know what each one thinks of the other.
How do you think that conversation would go?
Eagle: “There you are, you magnificent, fish-fetching beast. Bring me a salmon from the deep!”
Sea lion: “I hope that thing doesn’t poop on me again.”
