The SALTGATOR Origin ONE is a desktop SoftGel injection molding machine designed to work with 3D printed molds. Instead of trying to force extremely soft filament through a nozzle, you print the mold, heat and mix the flexible material, then inject it to create parts far softer than conventional TPU.
In this video, I test the complete workflow, explain what plastisol is, compare PLA and PETG mold behavior, make some custom flexible parts, and find out where this machine is genuinely useful.
