ANN MAREE
For this WW project I have made a cat with a Green dress.
The pattern is from a YT tutorial by Beth's Trinketry which is very well shown . The dress is freehanded.
The yarn is Anko 8ply wool.
I used a 4mm hook.
I will be giving this to my friends granddaughter as they are all cat lovers.
BONNIE – Strawberry Bonnie
Here’s my green pet. It’s a YouTube tutorial by Crochet Critters called Easy No-Sew Crochet Gecko. I used Lion Brand 24/7 cotton in Lime with a 2.5 mm for the body but then I lost the hook! So for the tail I used a 2.75mm.
CAROLINE
Axolotls are maybe not a very common pet but it’s becoming more popular and my aunt has an adorable pink one. The pattern is from the Amigurumi Critters book by Amy Ting. The yellow is Caron one pound and the green is Crafters Secret. I used a 3.25 hook.
COURTNEY
I was trying to do two challenges at once! I needed to try to use the colors Olive + Hot Pink together and I thought it'd be perfect for a Chameleon! And since that could be a pet, I figured why not!
Mini Chameleon Amigurimi Pattern is by Easy Crochet Plushies (pattern is lacking and confusing at times but an intermediate crocheter could figure it out)
I used Premier Basix Chenille Yarn with a 6.5 mm hook in the colors Sage, Hibiscus, Cotton Candy, & White.

A green pet! As a child I had a Murphys Five & Dime turtle (you have to be old to remember Murphys pet department!) named Peter. He was a great little guy and brought me joy. So I made Peter the Turtle with Bernat Blanket yarn and a size 6mm hook. The pattern is from a YouTube tutorial by @themaryjay. I added the ruffle.

My oldest daughter is getting chickens in a few weeks. She has been talking about getting chickens since they moved from the city a year and a half ago. So, in honor of my soon-to-be grandchicks I made a chick in a frog hat. The pattern is free on IG, from Chanel’s Crochet. I used worsted weight yarn and a 3.75 hook.

I made a mini dachshund wearing a green sweater.
I used a free pattern by @sgacrochet_tsv on Instagram.
Yarn is Allize Velluto, with a 5.5mm hook.

GLORIA
This is Gloria from @gloscozycrochet on Instagram. My daughter has always dreamed of having a raccoon as a pet. Luckily it’s illegal in Texas. So this will be as close as she gets .

Beanie the greenie with Trevor the parrot. Both best friends, though they get into mischief together.
DK acrylic yarn, 3mm hook used. The "yellow" has a green tint to it, but doesn't show on photos. The parrot has a green back, large wing and tail feathers.

Pattern: Fudge it by Me...When you start a pattern and finish it, then realise it went terribly wrong ; I fudge it to make a new pet.
Yarn: Zaddy Craft & a little acrylic yarn.

Yarn is Big Twist plush, hook 7
for the body, 6.5 for the rest.

My green pet is made with #6 bernat blanket yarn and a 5mm hook. It is Flip the fish from Teresa's crochet shop. At our home we have no real pets. I just made this fish to play with my husband of 58 years. I have been crocheting since 1968.

My creation is a frog. I have always loved frogs and wanted one as a pet.
The pattern is Frank the Frog by Blooming Garden Boutique. Blooming Garden Boutique used to be an open shop on Ribblr but has closed now so this pattern is no longer available.
This was made using Bernat Blanket yarn and a 6mm hook.

I fell off my CAL wagon a little while ago, I went crazy in my scrap yarns bin and my CALs disappeared out of my thoughts

I'm not completely sure if I leave it this size and have it as a pram blanket or to make another square with a different animal and turn them into a over size drawstring bag for kids toys?
