I am including seashore-fluorescent with this. I made a game for the beach. I made it offhand.
This is my new make for puce insect. Mine is an alien insect yet to be discovered! I know it is an insect because it has 3 body parts and 6 legs. It is solely out of my brain! A 4mm hook and stash trash yarn #4 was used.

Well, I have learnt a new colour with this WW.
I have made a dragonfly using a dusty pink which I am hoping is close to puce.
I have freehanded this by just looking at some dragonflies on Pinterest. In the head I have put a small container with rice in it to make it into a rattle. For the wings I cut up a milk bottle and cut out the shape. This has stopped the wings being floppy.
I used a 4mm hook.

I used a 3.25mm hook with Mainstays Sparkle in Rose Fume and a mystery acrylic yarn.

Attached is my wheelie Wednesday submission for puce insect. This is actually from my own pattern. I used random scraps from my stash and a 3.25 mm hook. I wasn’t sure what puce was so I hope this works!

Jumping Spider pattern by Handmade by Nikelle
This is my go-to spider pattern! And spiders have been popular lately! I'm not sure what color maybe coral in Bernat Blanket yarn (this was the closest I could come up with) I used a 6.5 K hook & normally you are supposed to use 12 mm & 14 mm eyes but on this one it’s 14 mm & 16 mm.

This was made with Cotton Sprouts in Cranberry, tutorial by Crochet Rainbows & Butterflies, and the border is the spider stitch in scrap yarn.

Closest color to puce I had was Bernat in Red Rust. I made Rug Bug Huggie, a free pattern from Loopsydaisycrafts.com. I used Bernat and a size 6.5 hook and Loops and Threads faux fur in pink. One of my cats has adopted Rug Bug for herself so he is now serving as a cat snuggler!

Had to break my yarn buying ban. Walking around the wool shop with a colour card in hand looking for puce, looked weird.

Dragonfly by Double Dutch Crochet. I doubled the pattern for acrylic use, 3mm hook. He's 12 inches by 10 inches.
Death Head Moth by Complicated Knots. He's 6 inches long by 12 inch wing span.
Beetle by Skein Spider. He's 5 inches long.
Really good and easy to follow tutorials.

You know I'll do anything to get out of making an amigurumi.
So I found some puce scrubby yarn and so I made a dish scrubby and it's a dead bug. I used that cotton that comes in the cone.

I made a beetle, a free pattern on Instagram by @steviecrochet The yarn is Bernat Mistical in the colour Berry, however when I googled the colour puce, I felt this went into the puce colour family!! I used a 6.5mm hook and was quite a quick make, which would be great for market prepping.
