As a wheelchair user who regularly travels by accessible rideshare, nothing irks me more than when I get a van that loads me up in the trunk. I’m grateful for getting a ride, but damn can you respect that I’m a human riding back here and not make me feel like I’m cargo you just wanna throw in the back. I can feel EVERY bump in the road, my chair is on an incline so I feel like I’m going to fall backwards, and there’s a whole row of seats in front of me and I can’t even properly have conversation with the driver or my friend who’s riding with me. It’s really annoying honestly when you encounter “accessibility” that completely ignores the human that they feel like they’re servicing. DROP A COMMENT ⬇️ If you had to ride in one of these.
