WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that lets you see when your contacts are online and when they were recently active. In this video, I’ll show you exactly how to find this “Recently Online” feature, how it works, and what you need to know before using it.
To get started, make sure your WhatsApp is updated to the latest version. Then open the app and go to the Settings page. You may see a new section called “Contacts,” where this feature is being gradually rolled out to users. If you don’t see it yet, don’t worry—it will appear soon as the update reaches your account.
Inside this section, you’ll find a list called “Recently Online,” where you can see who is currently active and who was recently online. The list is automatically sorted based on the most recent activity, making it easy to track engagement and timing for your messages.
Keep in mind, this feature only works if the other person has allowed their activity status to be visible. If they have disabled it, you won’t be able to see their online status or recent activity.
This update makes it easier to understand your contacts’ activity and helps you communicate at the right time.
