Here's a little puzzle for those of you familiar with the ins-and-outs of automatic transmissions. I've got an odd moaning resonance that occurs when I'm in "Drive" and going about 30mph in this Impreza. Also there's a noticable clunk or hiccup from second into third that happens from time to time. I haven't noticed a consistent pattern to it, though. Unlike the resonance at 30, I don't think you can hear the clunk on the video.

It's proven difficult to get anybody to take a serious look at the thing - mechanics are either not interested in looking into an automatic or tell me to get over myself.

If it seems like I'm a bit high energy in this video it's because I was elated to be returning home for a three-day-weekend. Sorry about that - I hope it doesn't make the video any harder to follow. Happy Veterans Day.
