I was determined to make the perfect cherry chocolate chip fudge—but this recipe had other plans! What started as a simple fudge experiment turned into an accidental cherry almond version, multiple attempts to fix the consistency, and even a last-ditch effort to turn the whole thing into ice cream.
Everything tasted absolutely delicious, but those juicy maraschino cherries refused to cooperate. No matter how much liquid I squeezed out, the fudge simply wouldn’t hold together—and my attempted ice cream became cold cherry sauce instead. 😂
Come along as I test, troubleshoot and try every rescue idea I can think of. Some recipes become instant favorites…and others test every bit of my “super easy” patience. Mistakes were definitely made, but at least they tasted good!
