Today in Hearts of Iron 4, we will be revisiting the Communist Japanese focus tree. The last time I played them they weren't the focus they should've been, that changes as we will be giving it the full attention and focus it deserves as the Japanese state transforms itself into a Workers Republic.
Along the way we will come to the unexpected aid to the Red Army of Mao, as the Nationalist government begins to close in Ya'an an excursion back into Manchuria will drag the new Japanese government into the Chinese Civil War, that'll result in the power balance in the region being radically altered.
