For just $50 USD, I scored this in Japan on the secondhand market. And guess what? It came with a working Japanese copy of Pokémon Yellow! 🎉

So, what’s this thing? It’s a regular Gameboy Color with a twist—a modded, slightly smaller backlit screen. While Nintendo never officially upgraded the GBC’s screen, fans and modders stepped in and made it happen. They call it the Gameboy Color Light! ✨
