This past week has been a bit of a frenzy - from Kodak's Q2 financial report, to tons of huge mainstream media outlets misintrepretting the report, to Kodak needing to come out and release it's own statement to debunk alot of the misnommers that were circling around the film photography community. Well, long story short, thankfully, Kodak is not going out of business - quite the opposite, in fact. In Kodak's statement regarding their "bankruptcy" and "going out of business", they explained how not only are they staying in business & manufacturing film, but also the fact that they're doing quite well. Another big wrap up for many consumers was the rumors that Kodak's pension plan was getting deleted, leaving hundreds of workings without their retirement plan, which again, is simply not true.
