This is a 2019 3LP release of a previously unheard live recording from November 26, 1961, featuring the Stan Getz Quartet (Getz on sax, Steve Kuhn on piano, John Neves on bass, Roy Haynes on drums) at New York's Village Gate, capturing a dynamic, hard-swinging Getz just before his famous bossa nova shift, showcasing his powerful playing with an energetic rhythm section.
