The long-out-of-print album "Yama" by Takeo Moriyama, which had been difficult to obtain even on CD, is being released for the first time on analog vinyl as the third installment of the "Spin This Now!" series. Following the album "Mori", which focused mainly on slow-tempo pieces, this album "Yama" centers on up-tempo tracks. Moriyama’s sharp yet deeply embracing drumming is powerfully dynamic, like climbing a steep mountain at full speed. On both "Mori" and "Yama", the addition of saxophonist George Garzone allows listeners to be immersed in a refreshing flood of sound.
