Hamilton County Mayor Weston Wamp has dropped his proposal for industrial development on 500 acres of Enterprise South Nature Park.

The proposal was posed as a "deed restriction swap" by Wamp, meaning a county promise to keep the nature park for recreational use forever would be broken, but the county would make new promises to preserve McDonald Farm in Sale Creek.
