A group of remarkable people started the New Urbanism movement. Many dedicated people have now taken it to a place where we no longer discuss whether to build differently, but how? Through smarts, grit, and determination, scores of New Urbanists have changed the conversation around where and how communities should grow and develop. What’s next for our movement? Is the next generation of New Urbanists advancing the movement in a meaningful way and how is their focus different than prior New Urbanists? This discussion will explore the interesting and, perhaps, alarming differences between these generations of Urbanists.
