In this concluding lecture, we consider the nature of astronomy. With so many pressing problems here on Earth, why spend our time looking up?
Connecting the latest results with the simple act of stargazing, and providing practical tips for getting a little more space in your life, the lecture argues that astronomy is an essential part of what makes us human.
