EODCS (ret) Scott Weaver tells about when another person's mistake in Afghanistan nearly cost him his life. Instead, it was half his calf that was severed, causing intense pain that ended his deployment early.
That incident didn't end him though. He came back stronger than ever. Not only did he continue on active duty and make several more deployments, but he went on to take second in adaptive division at the Arnold Strongman Competition.
