Public speaking was my biggest weakness and fear when God called me to be an Apostle and start a church (7.5 years ago). I didn’t feel like my words would be powerful and I had no idea how I was going to be a powerful servant of God like God had called me to be. I obeyed anyways. I opened my mouth and spoke His word anyways. I prayed for people for years, walking in my authority and commanding oppression and sickness to leave people, but for years the church got smaller and I didn’t see any demon cast out and not many miracles. But one day, after “using what was in my hand” God’s power came upon my words and demons trembled and left the people they were oppressing! One day, people started testifying that my preaching opened up their eyes to God’s love and helped them to grow spiritually. All glory to God! This is how God wants to use you too! He wants to put His power upon you, but you have to use “what’s in your hand” and keep being obedient to “keep using it” even when you’re not yet seeing God’s power move upon you.
