Pulling a Commodore 128 out of storage to see if a warped floppy disk still holds any secrets from the past.
This machine was a significant step up from the C64 we grew up with, but time hasn't been kind to my media collection. I am testing this unit on real hardware to see if the drive can still read these old disks or if the damage is permanent. Even if the data is lost, the machine itself is a classic piece of computing history that deserves to be powered on again.
After checking the hardware, we settle in for some classic retro gaming. From the intensity of Wizard of Wor to the challenge of Countdown to Meltdown, we are running these titles exactly as they were meant to be played. Seeing these games load up on the original CRT setup is the best way to experience the library.
