Github has had some wild stuff happening lately. Including a massive CVE that leaked repos and a bug regression that started deleting code. The worst of it all is they've decided to go opt-out with their Github Copilot AI and training on code data from repos. What's next as Github drama continues? Maybe it's time for an open source alternative that you can host on Linux (Gitea).
