Sausage, Green Beans and Potato Casserole
Recipe
Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs smoked sausage
2 lbs baby red potatoes; washed and halved
2 15 ounce cans of cut green beans
1/8 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup butter
1 onion; chopped
3 garlic cloves; minced
1 teaspoon Slap Yo Mamma Seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 cup water
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and prepare 9x13 pan with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Add washed and halved potatoes to baggie or a bowl with lid.
3. Add oil and spices to baggie/bowl. Shake well to coat the potatoes.
4. Add sausage and water to a large frying pan. Cook sausage until browns and water evaporates. Remove from pan and allow to cool.
5. Add butter to hot pan, add onions. Cook onions until soften.
6. Add garlic to onions and butter.
7. Remove onions/garlic mixture and allow to cool.
8. Add cooled sausage, onions and garlic to potatoes and seasoning. Shake well.
9. Empty ingredients into 9x13 pan. Cover with foil.
10. Bake covered for 40 minutes. Optional: Crockpot on low for 3-5 hours.
