What’s different about the new airport? Everything. But here are some of the most unique features to check out the next time you’re in town.

Salt Lake City International airport is the country’s newest airport. The last new airport in the U.S. was built in Denver in 1995. The city unveiled the first phase of the more than $4 billion project before opening to the public on September 15, 2020.

The airport redevelopment sits on the footprint of the old airport, but has been completely rebuilt and reinvented.
