What YouTube gets wrong about Spacetime Curvature | Animated General Relativity  @FacultyofKhan

One of my (probably) more controversial uploads: this video covers common pitfalls with the typical depiction of spacetime curvature in General Relativity, a depiction which I myself have used previously. While this typical depiction is good for an initial understanding of spacetime curvature, there's some things that get missed, and it is those things that this video aims to discuss.

Some things to note:
-- A couple of the people mentioned in this video do acknowledge (at a surface level) the caveats behind this depiction. For instance, the high school Physics teacher mentions that the marbles (planets) don't collapse into the Sun in actual space, which is one of the criticisms I raise about his analogy.
-- The classic depiction of spacetime curvature does have its uses, especially for the layperson and beginner trying to understand GR. I'm not discounting that!
-- 'Weight' is probably a more accurate term to describe the central object in that trampoline video than 'ball': my mistake!
-- The comment about String Theorists and extra dimensions is meant to be facetious: to any String theorists watching, don't come at me with your 'dimension compatification' and 'Calabi-Yau manifolds'!
