Summary:
In this video, I'm explaining how to figure out how much amplifier power you need for your speakers, covering sensitivity calculations and the difference between anechoic and in-room sensitivity as well as impedance/ohms/resistance. I then show what happens when you put the speaker in the room in terms of overall SPL and how to factor in the content that you're listening to, since you're not listening to zero dB test tones, using charts and real-world examples to show how speaker placement and content affect sound levels.
