Wizards and Warriors animated lore documentary series on Star Wars universe continues with a meta series in which we will describe the real world inspirations of the franchise created by George Lucas and now owned by Disney. Previously, we have covered the canon version of the Galactic Civil War (youtu.be/gjTv40z7ZqQ) and the legends version of the rise of Thrawn (youtu.be/U5ztBrxe4Jw). This new episode will give an overview of the High Republic novels and comics and what you need to know before watching the Acolyte, including the state of the Galaxy and the Republic in that period, what the Jedi Order was doing, who the villains were, what the main events were and more.
