Massachusetts ballot question 5 would eliminate the state's tipped minimum wage model. A "yes" vote would gradually increase wages for tipped workers until it meets the state's full minimum wage by 2029. A "no" vote would keep the law as it is now, under which workers earn $6.75 an hour and businesses owners must make up the difference if tips do not bring that worker to $15 an hour.
