If Mars were empty and up for grabs tomorrow... would humans do anything differently than we did on Earth?

In 1950, Ray Bradbury asked that exact question in The Martian Chronicles. Humans arrive on Mars — a planet that already has life, already has civilization — and within a few short stories, they've brought war, disease, and consumerism with them. Sound familiar?

By the end, the Martians are gone. Not conquered in some big battle — just... erased. Almost by accident. And the humans left behind aren't villains. They're just... us. Building strip malls. Renaming mountains. Doing what we've always done.

So here's the real question: is that human nature — or just a habit we've never been forced to break? Drop your answer below. Would we really do anything differently?
