This week, discover the hope and comfort found in God’s promise that all pain, suffering, and sorrow will one day be gone as we explore what won’t be in heaven.
What won’t be in heaven? In the first message of our **Afterlife** series, Pastor Adam walks through Revelation 21 and gives us a powerful picture of the things we will no longer experience in heaven: **sickness, sadness, suffering, sin, and death**.
Revelation 21:4 tells us that God will wipe every tear from our eyes. There will be no more death, mourning, crying, or pain because the old order of things will have passed away. Whatever hurts here on earth, it won’t last forever. The pain we experience today may feel permanent, but for those who follow Jesus, it has an expiration date.
This message is ultimately about the **hope of heaven through Jesus Christ**. We may still experience sickness, grief, suffering, sin, and death in this life, but they will not have the final word. Jesus defeated death through the resurrection and offers us the free gift of salvation. The question is: **Will you be there?**
