When we forward project, we can visualise the thoughts we might have when we come to the end of our time here.

This can help us gain real perspective on the things that actually matter to us.

If we think we might look back and regret certain decisions, that can inform how we move forward right now.

Often we get caught up in the moment and react to what we think we want or need, but gaining some perspective using a strategy like this can help us live an intentional life.
