This is a Motormouth couple car review of the 2026 Polestar 4 luxury electric sedan.
There are two 2026 Polestar 4 options to choose from, RWD or AWD. We are in the AWD model with 544 horsepower and 506 lb-ft of torque. It has a 100-kWh battery with up to 451 km/280 miles of range. 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and 0-60 in 3.7 seconds.
The 2026 Polestar 4 RWD model has 272 horsepower and 253 lb-ft of torque with up to 499 km/310 miles of range. 0-100 km/h in 7.1 seconds and 0-60 in 6.9 seconds.
The 2026 Polestar 4 has a low, sleek front with air curtains below the headlamps, flushed door handles, a frunk and a rear lightbar. The rear window has been removed and Polestar added a rear-facing HD camera instead. I am not crazy about this; I much prefer a rear window, it feels strange driving without one.
2026 Polestar 4 comes standard with a 10.2” driver display, 15.4” touchscreen with Google built-in, wireless Apple Carplay, a wireless charger, 360-camera with 3D view, 8-speaker audio system 8-way power driver’s seat, 6-way power passenger seat, driver seat memory, heated front seats, Polestar Microtech upholstery and a power tailgate.
The 2026 Polestar 4 RWD model starts at $64,900 CAD/$56,400 USD and AWD $69,900 CAD/$62,900 USD.
The 2026 Polestar 4 comes with an 11-kW onboard charger. With a DC fast charger and speeds up to 200 kW, it will charge from 10-80% in 30 minutes. 11 kW charging times, 0-100% in 11 hours. A North American Charging Standard adapter is available.
2026 Polestar 4 RWD models can tow 2,000 pounds and AWD 3500 pounds
