This is meant to be just a slice of our lives right now, more specifically my life and my workshop/hobby areas, and what I was able to find in what was left there. My workspace and storage room were there furthest rooms from the fire, so what you see there in the original video is the only place worth looking for something to salvage in our home. This video just focuses on that space. There is so much more lost, the lifetimes possessions of 3 people, I can't even begin to put it into words or get my head around it yet. But I won't be going into the big picture in this video. I'm not trying to rush anything here, and some things I just can't talk about yet. But I wanted to share with you what I was able to find and recover in that room, as it was quite a surprise. Turns out there was a little bit of stuff stored in boxes, that were inside other boxes, and I was able to recover some of that stuff. When I finally had time to look it over it felt really good to see what I recovered on the table, I felt the need to talk it out. So making this video was somewhat therapeutic for me I think. While things are not great at the moment, and there are many other things on my mind, there is still much to be grateful for, even small wins like this. I wanted to share that in this video, more than talk about the losses (although there are still some things you'll see towards the end that I don't think I can save).
I can't thank everyone enough for all the support we've received and how much of an impact each and every bit is having, and will have for a long time. I have not been able to respond to comments and messages as I would like, but every one of them has been a help through every day since the fire. You are all amazing individuals.
