With the recent writers and actors strikes and the end of the streaming wars, the immediate future for TV is not looking great. So we wanted to take a look at all the worst years of TV and what made them so bad. It won't just be years that had the worst shows as that's hard to measure but instead what years had the worst impact on the industry. Also note that we won't be going too far in the past because most shows used to be just copies of one another.
We've found 5 years we think are some of the worst of TV and for TV. We'll be looking at the effect of a global pandemic, shifts in the industry, a genre we don't enjoy being pushed to the mainstream and when TV lost out to another form of media.
