Fall Juries are almost upon the music kids in school and I want you to know it's going to be okay. You are going to memorize that french piece, you are going to finally get that rhythm and even if you don't--you are still going to be an awesome musician.
It's easy to be in our bubble of friends that we know in music school and think we suck.
"He has a better chance at this than I do since his parents are loaded--
Their vibrato is more balanced--
Her high notes are amazing and I suck."
Take a breath, go spend some time with yourself remembering why you love this and watch this video to give you a bit of a bigger perspective.
Life isn't all about where you are right now.
Now go kick some ass and enjoy the music your teacher assigned you, too!
