This is our pilot we made for TBS in early 2017. Directed by Dave Paige (Nathan For You, Magic For Humans), produced by Tim Heidecker & Abso Lutely Productions and shot on a tiny budget, we did our best to get to the bottom of what the hell was going on with the steel industry in America by speaking with people in my hometown of Bethlehem, PA. Bethlehem is an old steel town that still feels the effects from the closing of the Bethlehem Steel plant.
Unfortunately, after a lengthy development process, it didn’t work out. We never got to explore the many topics that we wanted to dig into in future episodes, but, in this, we made something we're really proud of and we're happy to finally be able to share it with you!
Thank you to all the incredibly talented people who made this pilot possible. Hope to be able to work with everyone again someday! Who knows, maybe there's another life for this show down the line.
