Cross-hole sonic logging is the most prevalent and most accurate test method for assessing the integrity of a cast-in-place drilled shaft during construction using non-destructive methods.

In this video, I describe the difference between the terms "anomaly", "flaw" and "defect". I also outline what are the typical follow up investigation methods for the drilled shaft once an anomaly has been identified.
