They said they are working with Ballinger Shipyards to build the new platform. The shipyard is in Louisiana, United States. It is one of the largest privately owned ship builders in the country.
The platform was once a barge called Oceanianis. Now, it will be turned into a modern landing pad for Neutron. The new name of the ship is "Return on Investment," which shows Rocket Lab’s goal of making spaceflight more affordable by reusing rockets. The platform will be 400 feet long, or about 122 meters. That is bigger than SpaceX’s drone ships, which are about 300 feet long.
