Life Lessons:
1. Be encouraged to share the Good News of Jesus, even in the face of opposition. Your work will not be in vain.
2. Become a disciple. Be discipled by other true followers of God. And disciple others in the work of the Lord.
3. The Bible has been preserved over the centuries and can still be trusted to be the Word of God.
4. Believe in Jesus. Live in His Word. Serve Him. Know the Truth. Be free.
5. Share the truths of Jesus in the same way that He shared them … in the proper context and with wisdom and love.
6. We can be set free to do right, but must never abuse our freedom as an excuse to do wrong.

![Walking in the Light (1 John 1:7)
Walking in the Light - part two in the series, That You May Know – Living with Assurance, Truth, and Love presented by Bob Bennett at Central Tabernacle, Winston-Salem, NC
Recorded by Debbie Martin - Thank you, @deborahmartin875 !!
“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
I. The Call to Walk in the Light
“If we walk in the light as He [Jesus] is in the light”
• “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105)
• Walking in the light means:
▢ Living transparently before God
▢ Confessing quickly when we fail
▢ Bringing thoughts and habits into agreement with His Word
▢ Reflecting Jesus, not the darkness of others
II. The Fellowship That Grows in the Light
“We have fellowship with one another”
• The light not only unites us with God, but with each other.
• When believers are honest before the Lord, pride gives way to prayer, and criticism to compassion.
• Awakening and revival come as we prepare for it.
III. The Cleansing Power of the Light
“The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
• “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
• The blood of Jesus continually cleanses us from sin.
• Walking in the light means letting His grace reach every hidden corner.
• Your conscience is cleansed. Hebrews 9:14
IV. The Benefits of Walking in the Light
▢ Peace with God — freedom from guilt
▢ True fellowship — no masks, no faking
▢ Freedom from shame — His blood is enough
▢ A credible witness — integrity shines brighter than words
▢ Joy restored — deep contentment in Christ
See Matthew 5:14-16
V. Is Your Bucket of Joy a Little Leaky?
• Joy begins in fellowship but is sustained in steady walking.
• Refill your joy through:
1. Remembering Jesus’ Words (John 15:11)
2. Reconnecting in Fellowship
3. Confessing and Letting Him Work
4. Rebuilding Daily Walking Routines
5. Re-engaging in Purposeful Ministry
VI. Let’s Prepare for Awakening & Revival
• God honors prayer, humility, obedience, and truth.
• Revival grows from faithful groundwork wherever someone chooses to return to walking in the light.
• Awakening is a daily reality as we prepare and then prayerfully share our faith in Christ with those around us.

![Divine Grace (Inspired by Psalms 67:1-3)
Divine Grace
God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.
That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.
Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
[Verse 1]
In the quiet of the night, we lift our voices high,
To the heavens above, where your grace does reside,
With humble hearts we sing, of your endless love,
In awe of your presence, like a gentle dove.
Guide us on the path of righteousness and truth,
Embrace us in your arms, forever in our youth.
[Chorus]
God of mercy, God of light,
Shine upon us, day and night,
Let your love surround us all,
Hear our humble, fervent call.
[Verse 2]
Through the trials we face, youre our guiding light,
In the darkest of days, youre our hope shining bright,
We lift our voices higher, in praise of your name,
In your presence, we find peace, free from shame.
Fill our hearts with compassion and grace,
In your love, we find our rightful place.
[Chorus]
God of mercy, God of light,
Shine upon us, day and night,
Let your love surround us all,
Hear our humble, fervent call.
[Chorus]
God of mercy, God of light,
Shine upon us, day and night,
Let your love surround us all,
Hear our humble, fervent call. Divine Grace (Inspired by Psalms 67:1-3)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/awbpxwuur24/mqdefault.jpg)
